Works

A collection of work inspired by memory and close relationships.

Familiar Series

The familiar series revisits memories and family; faces and moments are reworked to feel accurate yet slightly displaced. I often use old photos to connect with moments, whether I was present or know the story.

Reclaimed

An exploration of memory and materiality, using recycled canvases from opshops. These works reflect the history of materials with layered acrylic ink and watercolour, based on memories of places I've visited.

The Portraits

These Studies aim to capture fleeting moments and the essence of everyday life in a sketch.

Familiar Series

The familiar series works from memory and family; faces and moments are returned to and reworked until they feel both accurate and slightly displaced, less about capturing likeness and more about what stays with you when the moment itself has passed. I often work from old photos where I get to be part of the moment- whether I was present or through the story attached.

Reclaimed

An exploration of memory, materiality and recollection, built on recycled canvases found in opshops around Australia. These works investigate the physical history of materials through layered acrylic ink and watercolour. The landscapes are based on the memory of places I've been, and the more abstract pieces are more about leaning into what is already there.

The Portraits

These Studies aim to capture the quiet intimacy of a fleeting moment. These paintings capture the weight of seconds that pass, the people surrounding us every day, and what may otherwise be a motion blur of recollection, I attempt to document in a sketch.
